I picked up a stack of 1940s Popular Science mags at an estate sale this weekend and found this crazy homebuilt car pictured in the letters section of the August 1941 issue.

Is this Harrison Ford With His Crosley?
From the boy's hair, clothes and the houses in the background I'd say the picture could have been taken anytime from the late thirties to about 1955. Aside from the Crosley, it would be a fairly nondescript image - except that the kid in the photo is supposed to be future movie star Harrison Ford!

Hers Since 1947
The Washington Times recently posted an article about Sandra Alger, who has had her 1941 Crosley convertible since 1947, when her Uncle Arvel gave it to her at the age of 6. Sadly, no photos, but it does mention that she once took the car the Crosley Auto Club national meet in Wauseon. Full story here.
